Nicotine and Toxins

It has been suggested that covid acts on the nicotinic cholinergic system (NCS) as one means of creating damage. I first ran across this in writing on Parkinson's and learning that nightshade plants were protective against the disease. This included tobacco and tomatoes. This discovery is not new to the medical community. The following is just one quote on this research from a medical journal:

"Converging research efforts suggest that nicotine and other drugs that act at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) may be beneficial in the management of Parkinson’s disease. This idea initially stemmed from the results of epidemiological studies which demonstrate that smoking is associated with a decreased incidence of Parkinson’s disease."
Parkinson's has been associated with exposure to toxins including herbicides and pesticides. Some researchers are now suggesting that Covid contains snake venom toxins or peptides which are known to target the kidneys and lungs.
It appears that nicotine may provide some protection against Covid as well. One research paper states: "we observed a significantly lower proportion of COVID-19 patients with smoking history compared to what is expected, given the population average for each study’s geographic area."
My point is not to recommend smoking but to suggest that Covid does its damage as a toxin. Most of the treatments for Covid that actually provide protection are effective against toxins. This includes vitamins C and D, NAC, polyphenols, zinc, chloraquin, ivermectin, and monoclonal antibodies (which have been used to treat snake bite).
The question is why has the health establishment been working to block access to substances including nutrients which give every appearance of protecting from Covid? Monoclonal antibodies were pulled off the market. Ivermectin, NAC, and chloraquin have been attacked and made unavailable. Smokers are not allowed to smoke in the hospital so nicotine levels fall within hours. It is not unreasonable to think that the Covid bioweapon was developed using snake toxic peptides or that substances with anti-toxin properties are protective.
